The World’s First ‘Sky Pool’ Is On The Way – Swim 10 Stories In The Air

London is known for its luxurious shopping, historic sites and high cost of living. It’s now going to be home to the world’s first transparent sky pool. Yes, a sky pool.

Developers of a pair of new luxury condo buildings in London’s Embassy Gardens neighborhood are planning to add a “sky pool” — a 25-meter-long swimming pool suspended 10 stories in the air between the two buildings (certainly not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights!).

“My vision for the Sky Pool stemmed from a desire to push the boundaries in the capability of construction and engineering,” said Ballymore Group CEO Sean Mulryan. “I wanted to do something that had never been done before. The Sky Pool’s transparent structure is the result of significant advancements in technologies over the last decade. The experience of the pool will be truly unique; it will feel like floating through the air in central London.”

Not surprisingly, the condos won’t come cheap. Units will start at around $1 million.
